The Natural History Museum, Abu Dhabi is an exciting new development. A world class museum for the Saadiyat Culture District in Abu Dhabi, to take its place alongside the Louvre Abu Dhabi, the Guggenheim Abu Dhabi and the Zayed National Museum. Consisting of some 25,000 sqm of facilities with 8,500 square metres of galleries, it is due to open in 2025.
Job Purpose
Lead the development of Abu Dhabi Natural History Museum acquisitions and commissions, aiding to contribute to build the museum’s collection in line with the overall museum narrative. The Acquisitions Lead role will work in conjunction with the Scientific, Curatorial, & Collections Management team, to identify, find, research, analyse and conduct due diligence on prospective acquisitions, gifts, donations, field acquisitions and commissions to support the ongoing development of the museum's permanent collection.
