Advocacy
Advocacy is an important part of our work and we are actively involved in challenging neglect of collections and lobbying for the appropriate resourcing of collections for their care and sustainable use.
Why should we all advocate for natural science collections? Find out more about the importance of collections and how we can help safeguard our collections as well as a growing collection of papers highlighting the importance of collections.
You may also find this advocacy toolkit helpful. These notes have been produced as part of a programme of support for North West museums with natural history collections, led by Manchester Museum in association with World Museum Liverpool, Tullie House Museum and Museum Development North West. If you have any comments, please email henry.mcghie@manchester.ac.uk.
Do you know a great resource that you think should be added to this page? Please let us know by emailing us at web@natsca.org.
